Warren County Issues Statement on Railroad Strikes

The Board of Supervisors and the staff of Warren County are pleased that a strike by railroad workers has been averted. Click through to read the rest of the press release.

The Warren County Department of Emergency Services has been in contact with Norfolk and Southern Railroad and reports that all railroad employees are expected to be at work today and will return to normal railroad operations.

The County remains ready to assist if the situation changes. If you see a related railroad issue, please continue to contact the Warren County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at (540) 635-4128. If emergency services are required, please call 911.

Warren County and everyone in the Department of Emergency Services are committed to protecting our community from any potential hazards at any time.
