Gertrude E. Miller Park is a large complex consisting of a playground, softball and baseball fields, Bing Crosby Stadium, an outdoor swimming pool, five rentable picnic shelters, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, and more! The park sits along Happy Creek and offers many opportunities for family gatherings, fun, or enjoyment of the scenery.
Established in 1947, this 60-acre park is located on East 8th Street and Stadium Drive. The park is immediately adjacent to the Raymond E. Santmyers Youth Center and Lions Park. This relationship makes for an intensely developed and well-loved community park serving the entire County.

Playground
The playground at Gertrude E. Miller Park offers several options for children to play and discover. With five slides, two play structures, two swing sets, a sand digging pit, play cars, sand volleyball courts, and nearby tennis and basketball courts, there is plenty of fun for all ages. The park sits beside Happy Creek, an established Virginia Trout Stream as stated by Virginia Game and Inland Fisheries, and also holds the Happy Creek Rain Garden built in 2006.
Bing Crosby and Fields
Bing Crosby Stadium:
With the help of a large donation from Bing Crosby, Warren County was able to build one of the finest baseball stadiums in the Shenandoah Valley. Named after the early 1900's singer and actor, Bing Crosby Stadium serves as the home field for Warren County High School, Skyline High School, Front Royal Little League, American Legion Giles B. Cook Post #53, Christendom College and the Front Royal Cardinals of the Valley League baseball teams. Bing Crosby Stadium was renovated and reopened to patrons in 2006.

Picnic Shelters
Gertrude E. Miller Park has five picnic shelters (#1 - #4, and #6) in a variety of sizes available for rent. Shelters include lights, charcoal grills, and picnic tables, and restroom facility within walking distance.

Swimming Pool
Claude A. Stokes, Jr. Community Swimming Pool offers patrons swimming lessons, concessions, a water slide, a diving board, a handicapped stairwell and lift, a gated baby pool area with mushroom, and a zipline. The pool is available for private rentals after closing on Fridays-Sundays during the regular operating season.
