The Commissioner of the Revenue's Office is OPEN to the public during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Department Description:
The Commissioner of the Revenue is the chief tax assessing officer in the County, responsible for assessing real estate, individual and business tangible personal property, machinery and tools, business license, transient occupancy, food & beverage, public service corporation, and bank franchise taxes. The Commissioner also provides state income tax assistance, free e-file for eligible tax returns, and administers the tax relief program for the elderly, disabled, and veterans.
