Adjacent to Samuels Public Library, this popular park offers a playground, picnic shelter, music park, outdoor exercise equipment, and basketball and sand volleyball courts.
At Burrell Brooks, Jr. Community Park, residents can come together for a friendly game on our sand volleyball court, basketball court, or horseshoe pit. Children can explore the large play structure consisting of three slides with a connecting bridge, or climb up and take a ride on the dinosaur or swings. A large shelter with restrooms (#12) is the perfect place to rent for an outdoor event or party. Citizens can also take advantage of the outdoor exercise equipment, perfect for both fitness enthusiasts and beginners, that sits along the walking trail added in 2008. The 3-acre park was established in 1993 and is open daily from dawn to dusk.
