School Resource

School Resource Officers are sworn law enforcement officers who are specially trained to tackle the unique challenges of the school environment. School Resource Officers work directly with the Warren County Public Schools, staffing each school with a Deputy who provides the following services:

  • Preventing and responding to school-based crime
  • Youth mentorship
  • Relationship building
  • Creating a safe environment to learn and work
  • Advising on emergency preparedness

School Resource Officers support administrators and parents in developing a deeper understanding of the juvenile justice system through increased education. Additionally, School Resource Officers assist in the identification of at-risk youth and diverting them to essential services
